Make a privacy request

Use this form to exercise your rights over the personal data we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive it in a portable format, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, or to restrict or object to how we use it.

We verify your identity first

To keep your data safe, we may ask you to confirm information that matches our records before we act on a request. We will never disclose personal data to someone who has no right to receive it.

When we’ll respond

We aim to respond within one month for UK and EEA requests, and within 45 days for US state requests, extendable where the law allows and with notice to you. There is normally no fee.

Use the email associated with your ORTEX account where possible, so we can locate your data.

This tells us which privacy law applies to your request (e.g. United Kingdom, Germany, California).

We use the information you provide here solely to verify your identity and handle your request. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you access ORTEX through your employer or another organisation, please see the “Institutional and enterprise users” section of our Privacy Policy — some requests should be directed to that organisation first. You can also email us directly at privacy@ortex.com. UK residents may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, though we’d appreciate the chance to help first.
