ORTEX MCP · For your AINew

Bring ORTEX into your own AI.

ORTEX MCP is our official Model Context Protocol server. It connects the ORTEX data platform to Claude, ChatGPT and any assistant that speaks MCP, so your AI gets ORTEX as a set of live tools and can pull the real figures to answer, compare and investigate. Connect in one click, using your existing subscription.

Not another chatbot — your AI, using ORTEX

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to real tools and data. ORTEX MCP exposes the ORTEX data catalog as those tools, so instead of guessing from training data, your assistant calls ORTEX for the live number and reasons over it. You stay in the AI you already use; it just gains ORTEX as a source.

One click to connect

No API keys to copy, no config files to hand-edit. The connection uses your ORTEX login and respects your plan.

01
Add the ORTEX connector
Open the ORTEX MCP server at mcp.ortex.com, or add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or your MCP client of choice.
02
Authorize ORTEX
Sign in with your ORTEX account and approve access on the “Authorize ORTEX” screen. There are no API keys to copy or paste.
03
It’s connected
Your assistant can now call ORTEX tools directly, scoped to your existing subscription tier, and pull live figures mid-conversation.
04
Revoke any time
The connection is backed by a dedicated key you can remove whenever you like, without affecting the rest of your account.

What your AI can reach

The same proprietary data professional desks pay for, available to your assistant as tools:

Short interest & securities lending

Short interest, the ORTEX Short Score, cost to borrow, availability, utilization and days to cover, plus official exchange filings, EU regulatory disclosures and index-level short data.

Options

Full options chain, contract details and expiries, and put/call-ratio sentiment as a snapshot or a time series.

Scores & signals

ORTEX Stock Scores, custom-weighted scores tuned to your own factor mix, and the Short Score.

Fundamentals & prices

Company fundamentals, free float, shares outstanding, closing prices, stock splits, peers and exchange reference data.

Ownership & events

Government (congressional) trades, earnings dates and macro-economic events.

What each connection can reach is scoped to your ORTEX subscription tier — the MCP never grants more access than your plan already has.

What you can ask

  • How crowded is the short in GME right now, and is the borrow getting more expensive?
  • Compare short interest and cost to borrow across my watchlist and flag the tightest.
  • What are options saying about TSLA into earnings — is the put/call ratio rising or falling?
  • Which names have a high ORTEX Stock Score and rising short interest?
  • Summarize the most recent congressional trades in semiconductor stocks.

Works with the tools you use

MCP is an open standard, so ORTEX MCP works with any compliant client:

ORTEX data provided through the MCP, including short interest, cost to borrow, availability and scores, consists of estimates produced by our models for information only, not exchange or regulatory filings, and may contain errors — validate independently before acting.
